Arctic Wolf launches Incident360 Retainer for cyber resilience
Arctic Wolf has announced the launch of the Incident360 Retainer, a service that combines proactive incident readiness with full-scale incident response coverage for organisations.
The Incident360 Retainer seeks to address the limitations of traditional incident response retainers, which typically require organisations to estimate in advance how many service hours they will need to prepare for and recover from cyberattacks. Customers using Arctic Wolf's new service can respond faster and with greater confidence, and in the event of a major incident, can achieve savings of up to 70 percent compared to standard market pricing.
Under conventional service-hour-based arrangements, organisations often face the dilemma of investing hours in preparation and potentially running short during a real incident, or reserving hours for emergencies but limiting their readiness activities.
The Incident360 Retainer is designed to resolve this trade-off by offering end-to-end coverage for one major incident, expert-led readiness initiatives, and industry service level agreements (SLAs) with response times as fast as one hour.
The landscape of cyber threats is evolving rapidly, with attackers leveraging advanced technologies to target organisations.
Addressing this shift, Dan Schiappa, President, Technology and Services at Arctic Wolf, stated, "Threat actors are moving faster than ever, and the rise of AI-enhanced attacks is accelerating the speed, scale, and complexity of cyber threats. For most organisations, it's no longer a question of if, but when a severe cyberattack will occur."
"The Arctic Wolf Incident360 Retainer gives customers the ability to prepare with confidence and respond without hesitation. There is no need to ration service hours or choose between readiness and response. It's a smarter, more resilient way to stay ahead of modern threats."
Among its key features, the Incident360 Retainer includes an IR Dashboard and Planner, which provides a centralised platform for launching emergency incident response engagements, managing preparedness activities, updating response plans, and securely storing critical documentation off-network. The Cyber Resilience Assessment function enables organisations to assess their security posture against leading frameworks such as NIST CSF 1.1/2.0 and CIS Critical Controls v8. It also generates an insurability rating that can be shared with cyber insurance brokers to enhance coverage discussions and renewal outcomes.
Incident-specific runbooks are available through the service, offering step-by-step, expert-developed response workflows tailored to high-risk scenarios including ransomware and business email compromise. For organisations requiring expanded support, the Incident360 Retainer Plus tier includes expert guidance, which provides tailored incident scenarios, one-on-one plan development or review sessions, and in-depth assessment of cyber resilience findings.
Arctic Wolf's incident response team is engaged by thousands of organisations globally to manage and recover from complex cyber events.
Their expertise covers forensic investigation, containment and eradication, threat actor negotiation, and comprehensive business restoration. According to Arctic Wolf, their intervention has, on average, reduced ransomware demands by 92 percent and helped organisations recover 15 percent faster compared to industry averages. The company has been selected by more than 30 global insurance panels and holds preferred status with several leading cyber insurance providers.
The service is also relevant for cyber insurance providers and IT resellers. Arctic Wolf encourages entities from the insurance or channel ecosystem to consider participation in the Arctic Wolf Partner Program to further strengthen response capabilities for customers.
