Cayosoft launches Guardian SaaS to secure hybrid Microsoft IDs

Thu, 20th Nov 2025

Cayosoft has introduced Guardian SaaS, extending its hybrid identity protection platform to a cloud-based service. The new offering aims to help enterprises secure, monitor and recover Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID environments. Cayosoft is targeting organisations operating across both on-premises and cloud infrastructures, focusing on security threats and operational continuity.

Cloud-based platform

The Guardian SaaS platform is designed to run as a fully managed service, requiring no additional infrastructure and offering what Cayosoft describes as zero downtime and zero maintenance. Its features include real-time monitoring for changes or security threats, automated alerting for misconfigurations, and immediate rollback for unwanted modifications.

Continuous monitoring spans multiple Microsoft services, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Teams, Intune, and Exchange Online. The platform provides an audit trail for each event, and one-click rollback capabilities for reversing malicious or unintended changes.

Identity security concerns

Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID remain frequent targets for cyber attacks. Many large enterprises still rely on these systems to manage user identities and access controls. As organisations move towards hybrid or fully cloud-based environments, maintaining rigorous controls and the ability to recover quickly from incidents has become more complex.

Automated remediation helps organisations comply with regulatory demands such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX. The platform's role-based access controls are intended to support a zero-trust security approach, reducing the risk of unauthorised changes or privilege escalation.

Market growth

Cayosoft has reported 60% year-over-year growth, reflecting what it describes as increased demand for hybrid identity protection. The company serves organisations across regulated sectors such as healthcare, government, and financial services. It has also received recognition in multiple analyst reports, including six Gartner publications within the past 12 months.

According to Gartner Peer Insights, Guardian received a 5/5 rating for integration and deployment, and a 4.8/5 rating for product capabilities and support. Customer comments highlighted operational reliability and ease of use, particularly in relation to alerting systems and dashboard accessibility.

Customer perspectives

"Identity security can't depend on the very systems under attack," said Robert Bobel, CEO, Cayosoft. "With Cayosoft Guardian as a service, we're extending the power of our platform to the cloud, delivering true hybrid Microsoft identity protection and ensuring that enterprises can detect, respond, and recover instantly, no matter where they operate."

"Cayosoft is setting a new standard for identity security and resilience by delivering our award-winning identity threat detection, change monitoring, and rollback as a service offering," said Dmitry Sotnikov, Chief Product Officer, Cayosoft.

One customer, an IT associate in the insurance industry, said: "They own and love their product, and it shows when you request support, and they provide it in the most personalised way possible."

The new Guardian SaaS will be available in 2026, with continued support for on-premises versions of Cayosoft Guardian and Cayosoft Administrator.
