CrowdStrike partners can earn up to USD $7 in services for each USD $1 spent
CrowdStrike has announced findings from independent research by Canalys showing significant partner services revenue generated through its Falcon platform.
The study by Canalys, now part of Omdia, found that for every USD $1 spent by customers on the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, partners were able to generate up to USD $7 in associated services revenue. This multiplier is described as among the strongest recorded in the cybersecurity sector, highlighting the ecosystem's role in partner profitability.
Study insights
The research considered a broad spectrum of CrowdStrike's global partners, including global system integrators, managed service providers, managed security service providers, and next-generation resellers. According to the findings, partners that offer end-to-end services – ranging from advisory to adoption and ongoing managed services – enjoyed the highest returns. Managed services made up nearly 46% of the total value derived from CrowdStrike-related services.
A notable contributor to this trend is the CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, which has enabled partners to broaden their high-margin practices, explore new revenue opportunities, and progressively deliver results that intensify annually, according to the study.
"Canalys' findings reinforce how the Falcon platform is in a league of its own, setting a new standard for partner opportunity," said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike. "Partners realize returns from day one, and those investing in the full Falcon services lifecycle are capturing outsized margins and sustained growth. With our AI-native platform and Services Partner Program, we're enabling partners to accelerate high-margin practices, deliver superior outcomes, and strengthen long-term customer relationships."
The Canalys study also indicated the value generated by partners does not diminish over time, which is often the case with similar technology ecosystems. Instead, services revenue associated with the Falcon platform compounds annually. Factors influencing this continued growth include partner maturity, the scale of operations, diversity of offerings, and geographical reach, differentiating CrowdStrike's partner network within the industry.
Channel perspectives
"Cybersecurity is one of the fastest-growing segments of the channel, and partners are looking for platforms that can anchor profitable, long-term practices," said Jay McBain, chief analyst at Canalys. "Our research shows CrowdStrike partners are realizing returns well above industry standards, with managed services and full lifecycle delivery fueling sustained growth. The combination of an AI-native platform and a rapidly expanding services partner program positions CrowdStrike at the center of this market shift."
The study offers insight into how managed services, combined with broader security lifecycle support, are shaping partner profitability in the evolving digital landscape. The Canalys data suggests that partners seeking to deliver strategic outcomes and ensure long-term customer engagement are leveraging the Falcon platform as a foundation for their growth.
Industry implications
The findings point to a wider trend across the cybersecurity sector, where service delivery multipliers are increasingly important measures of ecosystem health and partner benefit. With the advent of enterprise AI and its associated security challenges, the ability to offer managed, adaptable, and lifecycle services is becoming an expectation within many partner networks.
CrowdStrike's emphasis on an AI-native platform and a structured services partner programme is seen as a driving factor in the higher-than-average returns reported by the Canalys data. Both CrowdStrike and Canalys underline the importance of long-term relationships between technology vendors and services partners in developing resilient, profitable, and trustworthy security solutions for enterprise customers.
