Cyware partners with Team Cymru for enhanced threat feeds
Cyware has announced a new collaboration with Team Cymru to integrate its threat feeds into its Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP).
The collaboration aims to provide real-time visibility into botnets, malware, command and control (C2) infrastructure, and other external malicious activities. By integrating Team Cymru's Botnet Analysis and Reporting Service (BARS) feed with their Controller (C2) Feed, Cyware claims organisations are equipped with more accurate and timely intelligence to manage cyber threats effectively.
Sachin Jade, Chief Product Officer at Cyware, said, "Real-time, actionable intelligence is crucial for effective cybersecurity operations. By offering Team Cymru's unparalleled threat feeds into Cyware's advanced TIP, we are equipping organisations with a consolidated robust platform and insights they need to proactively identify and neutralise threats faster and more cost-effectively—making what would take security teams months to build and implement down to days."
The integration delivers approximately 10,000 unique IPs daily and processes about 6-7 million unique events. The data provides detailed threat indicators and attributes, supporting security teams in preempting malware and DDoS attacks, integrating threat indicators with defence systems, automating threat hunting, and contextualising threats through geolocation and campaign histories.
Jeff Vosburg, President of Team Cymru, said, "The collaboration between Team Cymru and Cyware represents a significant innovation leap forward in threat intelligence operationalisation. With this strategic integration, we're helping organisations take a proactive approach to cybersecurity, enabling them to strengthen their defences against the growing number of adversaries."
This collaboration promises unique insights into malware families, control protocols, and encryption mechanisms designed to help organisations prioritise and block malicious activities effectively. Cyware and Team Cymru seek to enhance organisations' capabilities to stay ahead of potential cyber threats.
