Yesterday

Dr Scott Zoldi, Chief Analytics Officer at FICO, has been named among the 2025 Artificial Intelligence (AI) 150, a list curated by Constellation Research to honour executives at the forefront of global AI transformation efforts.

The AI 150 recognises individuals who have driven significant change by integrating AI and digital technologies into their respective businesses. The selection process, which involves nominations from peers, industry analysts, technology providers, and thought leaders, spans six months and identifies those whose influence is shaping the future of enterprise and industry operations through AI.

Recognition for ongoing work

Dr Zoldi leads analytic and AI innovation across FICO's product and technology portfolio. His contributions are reflected in his listing as an inventor on 103 granted patents and involvement in more than 40 additional patent applications currently in process, developed in collaboration with fellow data and analytic scientists.

His track record of operationalising AI in business solutions was a key factor in his selection for the list, according to the announcement from Constellation Research. This recognition also highlights FICO's continuing role in advocating for responsible AI practices within the industry.

"It is an honour to be recognised as one of the AI150, the industry's most influential AI executives driving AI transformation across various industries," said Dr Scott Zoldi, chief analytics officer at FICO. "We are living through the Golden Age of AI, and it is imperative for enterprises to innovate and operationalise at scale. AI is a powerful transformative tool, and innovation, AI development standards, AI blockchain governance, and expertise in AI operationalisation can ensure AI technology provides meaningful scalable impact and precise decisions for business around the world."

Industry perspectives

R "Ray" Wang, founder and CEO at Constellation Research, commented on the impact of AI leaders featured in the 2025 list.

"In the Age of AI, we can expect AI to be infused in every part of the business. This rapidly evolving field has pioneers, policy shapers, and practitioners that will transform industries," said R "Ray" Wang. "The AI150 is our attempt to identify a small slice of the innovators and change agents that are making substantial contributions to the advancement of this revolution."

The statement from Constellation Research explains that the recognition is based on a demonstrated deep understanding of how digital and exponential technologies are changing the business environment. Those selected are acknowledged as actively steering their organisations through ongoing and future technological shifts.

Mark Minevich, global AI strategist, president of Going Global Ventures and strategic partner to Mayfield Venture Capital, also provided his perspective on the evolving role of AI leadership.

"In the era of digital transformation, the Chief AI Officer is not just a role but a catalyst for innovation, driving the corporate revolution with the power of artificial intelligence," said Mark Minevich.

Patent record and organisational influence

Dr Zoldi's portfolio of 103 patents, with over 40 more pending, is notable in the analytics and software sector. His work extends beyond invention, encompassing the application of responsible AI standards, governance practices, and deployment of AI technologies at enterprise scale. FICO, meanwhile, points to its longstanding focus on responsible AI, emphasising the importance of operational standards and practical applications over purely theoretical advances.

Constellation Research's process for compiling the AI 150 list draws on feedback from the wider industry and aims to reflect a broad view of current and emerging leaders in AI who are impacting business outcomes through the effective use of digital technologies.

Those recognised, including Dr Zoldi, are seen as contributing to the acceleration of digital transformation and as setting benchmarks for strategic use of AI in complex business environments.
