EasyDMARC partners with GuidePoint for email security boost

Yesterday

With the PCI DSS V4.0 compliance deadline approaching at the end of March, businesses are increasingly turning to implement DMARC protocols, according to a recent announcement by EasyDMARC.

The urgency of this move is underscored by data from Verizon, which states that 94% of ransomware attacks in 2024 were delivered via email, highlighting email as a significant vulnerability. In response to these pressures, EasyDMARC has formed a reseller partnership with GuidePoint Security.

This collaboration is designed to provide GuidePoint Security's customers with advanced DMARC authentication solutions, enhancing their email security and assisting them in compliance efforts. Organisations are thus able to strengthen their defences against cyber threats, eliminate fraudulent emails, and safeguard their domain reputation.

US-based EasyDMARC, a provider of email security solutions, announced the partnership aimed at offering GuidePoint Security customers access to DMARC solutions. Through this partnership, enterprises can protect their communications by authenticating legitimate email senders and blocking fraudulent messages.

Justin Hollmann, Partner Manager at EasyDMARC, commented: "Phishing, spoofing, and domain impersonation attacks continue to inflict substantial financial losses and reputational harm on businesses worldwide. With major providers mandating DMARC compliance and upcoming regulations like PCI DSS V4.0 raising the bar for email security, the expectations for protecting inboxes are becoming increasingly stringent. Our collaboration ensures GuidePoint's clients have access to the tools and support they need to stay ahead of evolving threats and maintain compliance with minimal complexity."

In recent times, leading email providers such as Google and Yahoo have enforced DMARC compliance, setting a precedent for stronger email security measures. With the updated PCI DSS V4.0 requirements, businesses face increased pressure to enhance their email security.

Justin Iwaniszyn, Director of New and Emerging Alliances at GuidePoint Security, underscored the challenges currently facing organisations: "Organizations across all industries are grappling with increasingly sophisticated email-based attacks, from phishing to domain impersonation. These threats not only compromise sensitive data, but can also damage domain reputation and erode trust in communications. Our partnership with EasyDMARC can help our joint customers simplify email security, better protect their email ecosystems and stay ahead of evolving compliance standards."

EasyDMARC offers a cloud-native B2B service aimed at solving email security and deliverability issues via a suite of advanced tools, such as its AI-powered DMARC Report Analyser, SPF, DKIM cloud management solutions, and reputation monitoring for email sources. These benefits are accessible through a flexible, scalable platform that supports a pay-as-you-go pricing model.

The collaboration between EasyDMARC and GuidePoint Security is expected to support organisations in their email security efforts while helping them adapt to looming regulatory changes, thereby addressing the need for robust protective measures in today's security landscape.
