Eventus Security has won the Masters of Risk - Services award at the India Risk Management Awards Season 12. CNBC-TV18 presented the award in association with ICICI Lombard.

The recognition follows another industry accolade for the cybersecurity services provider, which was recently named the 2026 Community Choice Winner for Cybersecurity Service Provider of the Year at the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.

The India Risk Management Awards recognition highlights Eventus Security's work in helping organisations address cyber risk as part of broader operational, regulatory and business risk management. A jury selected the company from a competitive field of nominations.

Eventus Security operates managed cybersecurity services across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the United States.

Broader risk

The award comes as companies face growing pressure to treat cybersecurity as more than a technology issue. Attacks increasingly affect business continuity, regulatory compliance and operational resilience, pushing boards and risk teams to tie cyber planning more closely to broader risk oversight.

Eventus Security's service portfolio includes managed security operations, managed detection and response, cyber threat intelligence, digital forensics and incident response, vulnerability management, red teaming, breach and attack simulation, application security and cyber resilience services.

Its model combines round-the-clock security operations, technology and security staff to help clients identify threats, investigate incidents and prepare for disruption.

In a statement, the company linked the recognition to customer demand for a more joined-up approach to risk management.

"Cyber risk today is closely connected with operational continuity, regulatory exposure and business resilience. Organisations need more than individual security controls; they need the ability to anticipate threats, respond decisively and continue operating with confidence. At Eventus Security, we bring together intelligence, technology and human expertise to help customers manage this complexity. The 'Masters of Risk - Services' recognition is a testament to the dedication of our teams and the trust our customers and partners place in us," said Vikas Somani, VP - India Sales, Eventus Security.

Industry recognition

The back-to-back awards add to a run of industry recognition for Eventus Security this year. While such awards are not a financial measure of performance, cybersecurity firms often use them to signal standing in a crowded services market where differentiation can be difficult.

Managed security providers have expanded beyond alert monitoring into response, forensics and resilience work as customers seek fewer suppliers and more integrated service models. The shift also reflects the challenge of hiring and retaining skilled cybersecurity staff in-house, particularly for continuous monitoring and incident response.

For buyers, the appeal of external providers often lies in access to specialist skills, broader threat intelligence and the ability to maintain twenty-four-hour coverage. At the same time, larger enterprises increasingly want providers to align security monitoring with governance, risk and compliance processes rather than operate as standalone technical vendors.

The India Risk Management Awards recognise organisations that have shown strong risk management practices and innovation in building resilient business environments. Eventus Security said the Masters of Risk - Services category reflected its work in that area.

Somani described the win as recognition of the company's team and customer relationships.
