Gallagher Security reveals cloud-led innovations for GSX 2025 show

Thu, 28th Aug 2025

Gallagher Security has announced plans to demonstrate its latest line-up of security products and solutions at GSX 2025.

The company is aiming to present a significant shift in how security is perceived and utilised, encouraging attendees to rethink the traditional role that security measures play within workplaces.

Shifting perspectives

Director of Marketing – The Americas, Melissa Vidakovic, emphasised the new direction the company is taking with its offerings and how they affect the security industry. She said, "Security has traditionally been seen as a cost center or a barrier. But what if it could be more? This year's booth is about showing attendees what security reimagined looks like when innovation and imagination come together. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be 'transformation.' We've had an eventful year of new products and solutions released to market, and GSX is the opportunity to see how they come together to produce a platform that delivers more capability, less friction, and greater results."

Gallagher Security's booth is set to showcase an array of new technologies. Among them is QuickSwitch, a migration tool that facilitates businesses in moving from legacy systems to Gallagher's integrated security platform. Attendees will also be introduced to the Controller 7000 Suite, which now includes a high security variant designed to meet the US General Services Administration (GSA) standards as well as UL/ULC and wider international assurance requirements.

Technological expansion

Other product highlights include OneLink, a cloud-based platform developed to address challenges relating to remote connectivity, making geographical distance less of a constraint for security management. Gallagher will further preview AccessNow, a cloud-native solution intended to streamline access and credential requests, thereby reducing administrative demands for security teams and enabling end users to gain immediate, self-service access.

"There's so much happening at our booth this year that I can't give it all away just yet," Vidakovic adds. "We've got big announcements in the works, and I hope attendees stop by to see what's next."

Each of these developments is part of a wider strategy to demonstrate how different elements of Gallagher's portfolio combine to provide increased flexibility and operational efficiency for organisations.

Historical context

The company's commitment to ongoing product development was highlighted by Chief Executive, Mark Junge. He stated, "Our company's 85-year history is filled with moments of breakthrough thinking that reshaped industries. From the world's first electric fence to today's unified security platforms, innovation is at the heart of who we are. The GSX 2025 booth is a powerful example of how we continue that legacy today while looking boldly to the future."

The emphasis by both Vidakovic and Junge on transformation and legacy illustrates the company's approach to integrating new technology with longstanding industry principles.

Product details

The QuickSwitch tool, designed for system migration, has been the subject of significant discussion among sector professionals, as it addresses common issues faced during upgrades from older to newer security technologies. The Controller 7000 Suite's High Security variant is intended for environments that require adherence to strict regulatory guidelines, particularly institutions with federal or other critical infrastructure responsibilities.

OneLink represents a strategic move towards cloud-enabled services, broadening the scope of remote administration and control of security assets. AccessNow, described as fully cloud-native, provides automation for access and credentialing, reducing steps for end users and support staff and further embracing trends towards digitisation in workplace security environments.

Gallagher Security's continued focus is to provide solutions that respond to the evolving needs of businesses across a wide range of industries, including government, commercial, industrial, and healthcare sectors. The company's product roadmap indicates ongoing investment in cloud-based solutions, automation, and compliance with international security standards.
