Hatz AI has launched Hatz Activate for managed service providers. The product is designed to help MSPs roll out AI tools to small and medium-sized business clients at scale.

The feature sits within the Hatz Admin panel and serves as a central dashboard for onboarding, inviting and tracking client adoption. It is aimed at MSPs that want a more standard process for introducing AI across their customer base rather than handling deployments one account at a time.

The launch addresses a problem many smaller businesses face as interest in AI rises. While many companies want to use AI in day-to-day work, Hatz argues that a lack of structure and reliance on consumer tools can create data risks and slow adoption.

For service providers, the challenge is also operational. Customer information may be spread across professional services automation systems, spreadsheets and separate invite links, leaving staff to manage manual onboarding steps for each client.

How It Works

Hatz Activate connects to a PSA system or uses a customer CSV upload to pull in client records. The system then enriches each account by domain and industry and generates industry-specific use cases to give each client a starting point for AI use.

The dashboard also shows tenant match status across a provider's customer base. MSPs can use it to run Shadow AI reports, send AI Readiness Assessments and issue tailored invitations to clients, while tracking whether those invitations have been sent or accepted.

According to Hatz, the system includes saved views, filters and a live dashboard showing metrics such as total customers, clients ready to invite, invites sent, activated users and conversion rates. The aim is to turn client AI onboarding into a recurring process rather than a one-off sales effort.

The product enters a growing market for tools that help channel partners and service providers package AI for smaller organisations. MSPs have increasingly positioned themselves as advisers on AI use, especially for customers that lack in-house technical teams and governance policies.

Partner Focus

Jimmy Hatzell, Chief Executive Officer of Hatz, said the launch reflects requests from channel partners for a more repeatable client rollout process.

"Everything we build at Hatz starts with our partners. MSPs are the most trusted technology advisors small businesses have, and they've been asking for a real way to bring AI to their entire client base, not one account at a time," Hatzell said.

"Hatz Activate is our answer. It gives MSPs a repeatable way to get every client up and running with AI that is practical and safe, which is exactly what our mission demands: helping the MSPs who make SMB technology work deliver more value to the businesses that count on them."

Hatz positions itself as an AI operating system for small and medium-sized businesses, delivered through MSPs rather than sold directly to end users. That route to market reflects the role many MSPs already play in managing software, security and IT operations for smaller companies.

Hatz Activate is available immediately to MSP partners through the admin panel. Features include a unified customer table with PSA synchronisation and CSV import, visibility into tenant status before invitations are sent, and attribution tracking for activations completed through invites.

One element likely to attract attention from service providers is the Shadow AI reporting function. Businesses have become more concerned about employees using public AI services without formal approval, particularly when company information may be entered into tools outside official security controls.

By building that reporting into the same interface used for outreach and onboarding, Hatz aims to give MSPs a single place to identify risks and act on them. It also seeks to reduce reliance on separate CRM exports, spreadsheets and manual email processes by moving those steps into one workflow.

The tool is intended to let providers move from customer selection to invitation in a handful of clicks. More broadly, Hatz is pitching it as a standard monthly process for identifying prospects, assessing readiness, flagging unsanctioned AI use and converting more customers to managed AI deployments.

Availability is limited to Hatz MSP partners using the Hatz Admin panel.
