Rimini Street & American Digital offer cost-saving IT support
Rimini Street and American Digital have formed a partnership to provide an alternative support offering for Oracle, SAP and VMware software operating on HPE infrastructure.
The partnership aims to enable organisations to reduce total IT support costs by up to 90%, avoid forced software upgrades, and continue extracting value from their existing IT systems.
This alliance targets North America-based clients, with Rimini Street delivering software support and managed services for enterprise software that is hosted on infrastructure provided and serviced by American Digital.
Operational savings
According to the two companies, clients can use this arrangement to sidestep low return on investment software upgrades and migrations, instead retaining their reliable current software whilst maintaining security and legal compliance.
The support model is designed to help clients integrate newer technologies, such as artificial intelligence and workflow automation, without the need for re-platforming or major migrations, thus containing costs and risks.
Regal Rexnord, a firm in sustainable energy manufacturing, is among the early adopters of this partnership. Tim Dickson, Chief Digital & Information Officer of Regal Rexnord, said the collaboration has added value through consistent service and support.
Our partnership with Rimini Street and American Digital has been built on a foundation of trust, responsiveness, and shared commitment to excellence. Their teams consistently deliver outstanding customer service and technical expertise, enabling us to extend the value of our data centre investments and drive digital transformation with confidence. We deeply appreciate the close collaboration and reliability they bring to our operations.
Technology and transformation
Seth Ravin, Chief Executive Officer of Rimini Street, stated that companies are facing a landscape defined by rising IT costs, complex security requirements, and vendor support deadlines, all while facing pressure to adopt technology that provides clear financial returns. He commented on the strategic approach enabled by the partnership:
With rising IT costs, urgent licensing and security challenges and looming vendor end of support dates for mission-critical systems, coupled with the demand from the board for fast adoption and execution of ROI-rich innovations like AI, organisations must achieve growth, profitability and speed to market. Sinking costs into endless upgrades will leave organisations behind competitors and waste limited resources that could be focused on new innovation. The partnership between Rimini Street and American Digital ensures clients can leapfrog competitors and bring to market, real, tangible innovations – quickly and within existing IT budgets.
Adaptable solutions
Bob Panos, President of American Digital, highlighted the flexibility and immediate financial impact of the alliance. He said:
The American Digital and Rimini Street partnership is designed to deliver immediate, measurable cost savings while ensuring critical applications are fully covered with flexible, tailored solutions that adapt to each client's unique needs. Together, we're redefining exceptional service and driving real results from day one.
The collaboration between the two firms seeks to address the requirements of organisations needing to modernise their IT operations and adopt contemporary technologies while avoiding the disruption and expense commonly associated with major software migrations or upgrades.
The combination of support, modernisation options such as AI and automation, and infrastructure aims to keep mission-critical applications running securely and compliantly with reduced spend.
By offering support models outside traditional vendor upgrade cycles, the alliance positions itself as an option for organisations seeking to build innovation into their IT landscape at a measured pace using existing systems as their foundation.
