Splashtop links endpoint management with CrowdStrike

Thu, 26th Feb 2026

Splashtop has released an integration between its Autonomous Endpoint Management product and the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, linking endpoint management workflows with endpoint security status in Windows environments.

The companies describe the integration as a way for IT operations and security teams to work from a shared set of endpoint signals while keeping management tooling separate from detection and response systems.

Operational view

The integration surfaces CrowdStrike Falcon endpoint status inside the Splashtop console, including whether the Falcon sensor is installed and whether an endpoint is protected.

IT teams can use the same monitoring and management console to check high-level security posture across endpoints, and then pivot into the CrowdStrike Falcon console for deeper investigation or remediation.

In many organisations, endpoint management and endpoint security are handled by different teams. IT operations groups manage deployment, patching, and day-to-day device health, while security teams run endpoint detection and response. This split can slow security tool rollouts and complicate coordination during incidents.

In this setup, Splashtop acts as an operational layer, supporting policy-driven deployment of the Falcon sensor across Windows devices, visibility into deployment status, and remote access to endpoints when action is needed.

CrowdStrike remains the system for detection, investigation, and response. The integration is designed to keep responsibilities clear: Falcon handles endpoint security functions, while Splashtop focuses on deployment and operational visibility.

Deployment focus

Deploying endpoint security sensors can be difficult in distributed environments. Fleets often include remote and hybrid workers, branch offices, and systems managed by different IT groups. A policy-driven approach aims to standardise how organisations roll out and maintain required agents across these endpoints.

The integration lets IT teams check sensor installation coverage and protection status without switching tools for routine checks. When issues arise, Splashtop's remote access can be used to reach endpoints for troubleshooting or configuration.

The integration applies to Windows environments; the announcement did not mention equivalent support for other operating systems.

Coordination claims

Splashtop positioned the release around the fact that IT operations and security teams often have different workflows, tools, and priorities, and linked the need for closer coordination to increasingly decentralised endpoint estates.

Mark Lee, chief executive officer of Splashtop, said customers want tighter collaboration between IT operations and security teams as device estates decentralise.

"As endpoint environments become more distributed, customers are looking for better coordination between IT operations and security teams. Our integration with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform helps simplify endpoint operations while preserving established security investigation and response workflows."

Product context

Splashtop is known for remote work and remote support software, and has expanded into endpoint management for device inventory, configuration, software deployment, and ongoing monitoring.

CrowdStrike Falcon is a widely used endpoint security platform used for endpoint detection and response by security teams and incident responders.

The integration reflects a broader enterprise trend of linking operational management with security telemetry. Many organisations are trying to reduce the time needed to confirm that key security controls are present on endpoints and to close coverage gaps.

Under the integration, Splashtop provides a summary view of endpoint state, while Falcon remains the destination for investigation and response. This approach may suit organisations that want security decision-making to stay within dedicated security tooling while giving IT operations clear visibility into rollout and coverage.

The integration is available now.
