Vehere strengthens North America sales with senior hires
Vehere has expanded its North America sales team with two senior hires, appointing Glen Hlavsa as Regional Sales Director and Ali Abughannam as Senior Account Executive.
The move is part of a broader growth push across the US and Canada, adding experienced cybersecurity and enterprise technology sales leadership to the regional operation.
Vehere sells Network Detection and Response (NDR) products that use artificial intelligence for network monitoring and threat detection. It targets organisations seeking stronger visibility into network activity and faster incident response.
Sales leadership
Hlavsa brings enterprise sales leadership experience across telecommunications and security. He has held senior roles at T-Mobile Business and Comcast, where he worked on regional revenue growth and led sales teams through organisational change and turnaround efforts. Most recently, he was Regional Sales Director at Cipher.
Abughannam joins from ThreatModeler Software, where he served as Vice President of Sales. He has nearly a decade of cybersecurity sales leadership experience, including driving enterprise adoption of threat modelling and application security products. His background also includes building long-term customer relationships and supporting revenue growth across multiple markets.
Vehere Chief Operating Officer Praveen Jaiswal said North America is central to the company's commercial plans.
"North America represents a strategic growth market for Vehere. Glen and Ali's distinguished track records in enterprise sales leadership make them powerful additions to our North America team."
Market focus
Hlavsa and Abughannam will focus on customer acquisition and account development, with an emphasis on large organisations. They will also strengthen relationships with partners and system integrators, a common route to market for cybersecurity vendors selling into regulated sectors and complex IT environments.
Hlavsa said rising threat levels and the limits of established approaches are creating an opening.
"Cyber-attacks on US enterprises are skyrocketing, and traditional detection and response approaches are failing," he said.
He added that Vehere's experience in mission-critical environments supports its market proposition.
"Vehere's battle-tested pedigree, built on years of defending mission-critical environments, delivers the security and visibility organizations need to uncover hidden threats before they turn into full-scale breaches," Hlavsa said.
Abughannam said he will focus on improving network visibility and response. "The opportunity to help customers across North America gain clearer visibility into network activity, respond faster to threats, and build long-term resilience is something I'm genuinely excited about," he said.
Company background
Vehere describes itself as an AI cyber network intelligence specialist and says it has supported counter-terrorism analysts in defence and intelligence organisations for more than a decade. It also says its platform is used by cyber analysts in Fortune 500 firms across telecoms, financial services, and smart city operators.
The expansion comes as organisations face pressure to improve detection of lateral movement and suspicious behaviour inside their networks, while managing staffing constraints and high alert volumes. NDR vendors have increasingly emphasised automation and improved data analysis as customers look to triage incidents faster and reduce time spent on manual investigation.
Vehere did not disclose the size of its North America sales organisation or whether additional hiring is planned. It said Hlavsa and Abughannam will focus on expanding its regional footprint and strengthening existing partner and system integrator relationships.
