Network attached storage (NAS) stories
As data volumes have inexorably grown over time, and as people working collaboratively have required
access to communal documents and other information, Network Attached Storage has emerged as a
dedicated form of storage connected to the network and allowing multiple users access from any
device. NAS file storage is generally provided as a network-attached device (a storage array); additional
devices can be added as required, allowing scale-out of storage capacity.
