Datasite has appointed five senior executives to leadership roles as it links its AI, intelligence and transaction operations across mergers and acquisitions.

The appointments are Raj Bakhru as Chief Technology Officer, Andrew Bocskocsky as Chief Product Officer, James Lehnhoff as Chief Information Officer, Todd Albright as Chief Commercial Officer and Doug Cullen as Chief Revenue Officer for Grata Intelligence.

The roles are designed to align technology, product, enterprise systems and commercial operations as Datasite expands its position in M&A software and services.

Leadership changes

Bakhru will lead the technology organisation. He joined through Datasite's acquisition of Blueflame AI, where he was Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder. He has also held senior technology, strategy and cybersecurity roles at ACA Group, ACA Aponix and Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

Bocskocsky will lead the product organisation. He joined through Datasite's acquisition of Grata, where he was Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, and previously founded Gramercy 360.

Lehnhoff, who joined Datasite in 2017, will oversee enterprise technology, platform application support and AI development priorities. Before that, he held engineering leadership roles at Workfront and Digital River.

Albright will lead Datasite's global commercial teams. He previously served as General Manager of Datasite Enterprise and earlier as Chief Revenue Officer. He has also held international sales leadership roles at FIS Global, Activ Financial, Intralinks and EY.

Cullen will lead go-to-market strategy for Grata Intelligence. He joined Datasite in 2015 and has held roles including Chief Product and Strategy Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Sales. Earlier, he held commercial leadership positions at Ceros, Stylesight and Intralinks.

Strategic focus

The changes are part of an effort to create a more connected platform across the deal lifecycle, combining market intelligence, transaction tools and AI-led workflows.

Datasite operates in the M&A market with products including virtual data rooms, market intelligence tools and digital boardroom software. It is seeking to extend its reach beyond transaction execution into earlier-stage opportunity sourcing and broader decision support for dealmakers.

Recent acquisitions have supported that shift. The arrivals of Bakhru and Bocskocsky tie the new leadership structure to Blueflame AI and Grata, which Datasite acquired to add AI and market intelligence expertise.

Rusty Wiley, President and Chief Executive Officer of Datasite, said the appointments reflect that strategy.

"Raj, Andrew, James, Todd and Doug bring the leadership, technical depth, product expertise and commercial focus needed for Datasite's next chapter," Wiley said.

He added: "As dealmaking becomes more data-driven and AI-enabled, Datasite is building the connected infrastructure deal professionals need to identify opportunities, manage complexity and execute with speed and confidence. These appointments bring together the technology, product, enterprise systems and go-to-market leadership required to deliver on that strategy."

Datasite said native AI now runs across its product set for companies, investors and advisers working on complex transactions. The appointments place senior executives over the functions it sees as central to that approach, from core technology and product development to internal systems and commercial execution.

Datasite has operated for more than 50 years and works on many large, complex deals globally. Under the new structure, it is placing greater emphasis on connecting intelligence, workflow and transaction tools within a single leadership framework.
