FireMon recruits four Skybox sales leaders for expansion

FireMon has recruited four sales leaders from Skybox Security as part of its global expansion strategy.

The new appointments include Alessio Fasano for Southern EMEA, Morris Becker for DACH, Veera Subramanian for Southeast Asia, and Brian Matzke for the New York City territory. FireMon stated that these hires are aimed at strengthening its regional leadership and enhancing its ability to offer scalable and secure network security policy management solutions to enterprises across different markets.

Alessio Fasano joins FireMon with extensive experience in the Southern European region. Previously, he served as Country Manager for Italy, Greece, Cyprus, and Malta at Skybox Security, where he was recognised as the company's most successful sales executive. Fasano's background as a technical leader and entrepreneur includes a role as Group Chief Security Officer at Retelit, where he developed insights into customer challenges in cybersecurity.

Morris Becker, based in Germany, brings his experience from Skybox Security to FireMon, focusing on the DACH region. Becker is noted for his consultative sales approach and his knowledge of Central European markets, which FireMon anticipates will support its initiatives and presence in the area.

Veera Subramanian assumes leadership of FireMon's strategic accounts across Southeast Asia and Australia. While at Skybox Security, he was Regional Sales Director for ASEAN and Hong Kong, and has over two decades of experience developing and scaling sales operations throughout the APAC region. Subramanian is also the founder of Vincere CyberTech and has held previous leadership roles at F5, Picus Security, and other companies in the security sector.

Brian Matzke joins the North American team as Strategic Account Executive for New York City. With a background spanning more than 30 years in technology sales, including the past 15 years in cybersecurity, Matzke brings experience from past roles at Radware, Tenable, and IntSights. At Skybox Security, he was instrumental in driving enterprise sales in the Northeast US.

These hires follow the closure of Skybox Security, which has led to what FireMon describes as a sharp increase in global interest and a wave of recruitment from well-known security professionals. The company considers these appointments as part of a broader strategic effort to enhance its presence and responsiveness in international markets, while maintaining its support for enterprise customers with its security policy management platform.

FireMon reports that its global operations now extend to over 70 countries, serving more than 1,700 customers worldwide. The company's focus remains on hybrid cloud security, automation, and risk reduction with platforms that support continuous compliance and policy governance.
