Isaac Lujan joins Simbian to lead global AI partner strategy
Simbian has appointed Isaac Lujan as the new Global Vice President of Channel and Partnerships, with responsibility for developing and managing the company's worldwide channel and partner ecosystem.
Isaac Lujan joins Simbian's leadership team following a record of building and scaling partner programmes in North America. His background includes managing the North American channel and alliances programme at LogRhythm, where he facilitated growth through strategic partnership development, and leading the creation of a channel programme at Hunters, which became central to the company's go-to-market strategy.
His industry experience covers work with value-added resellers (VARs), managed security service providers (MSSPs), system integrators, and technology alliances. This breadth of partnerships provides a foundation for Simbian's intended global expansion in the AI-driven security sector.
Global partner strategy
As Global Vice President of Channel and Partnerships, Isaac Lujan will oversee all facets of Simbian's partner activities, including strategy, programme development, alliances, and operational execution across international markets. The company aims to use artificial intelligence in security operations, particularly for businesses facing challenges such as cybersecurity skills shortages and rapidly evolving threat landscapes.
Ambuj Kumar, Chief Executive Officer and co-Founder of Simbian, commented on the appointment:
"As we continue to scale our AI Agents for SecOps solutions globally, partner relationships remain fundamental to our growth strategy. The cybersecurity landscape is experiencing unprecedented transformation driven by AI adoption and the persistent talent shortage. Our partner ecosystem serves as the critical bridge between Simbian's innovative AI technology and the customers who need advanced security solutions. Isaac's proven ability to create win-win scenarios for partners and vendors alike makes him the ideal leader to take our global program to the next levely," said Ambuj Kumar, CEO and co-Founder.
Simbian stated that additional investments are being made into comprehensive enablement programmes and technical resources, with the intention that partners have support for training, marketing, and ongoing partnership development. These measures are part of broader efforts to develop a worldwide ecosystem that supports AI-based security operations.
Vision for partner enablement
Isaac Lujan outlined his priorities regarding Simbian's partner strategy and the potential for AI to reshape security operations. He emphasised the value of providing partners with resources and support to succeed alongside Simbian's technological solutions.
"I am most excited to put our partners in the best place to succeed with our unparalleled technology solutions and dedicated resources to help not only our partners but all of our joint prospects and customers, globally. Simbian's AI agents represent the future of security operations, and I'm passionate about empowering our partner ecosystem to deliver these transformative solutions to organizations that need them most. Together, we'll accelerate the AI transformation and make every security team more efficient and effective."
The company claims that with Lujan's leadership, it is working not only to develop a channel programme but to create a "global ecosystem that amplifies the impact of AI-driven security." Internal resources are being allocated towards training, marketing initiatives, and technical support, seeking to benefit partner organisations and customers around the world.
Background and values
In addition to his professional background, Isaac Lujan holds advisory roles at Grand Canyon University and the University of California, Irvine. He has also contributed to the community through volunteering at his local St. Vincent de Paul chapter.
